Advanced Musicianship and Artistic Expression 

High school students have the opportunity to specialize in vocal, instrumental, and general music courses that foster individual growth, ensemble development and artistic expression. Key focus areas include: 

• Performance opportunities for high school chorus, instrumental ensembles, mixed ensembles and solo artists.  

• Beginning to advanced instrumental and choral pedagogy. 

• Beginner to advanced music theory, ear training, and sight-reading. 

• Composition, arranging, and songwriting techniques. 

• Music history and appreciation of various genres and styles. 

• Integration of music technology, recording, and production. 

• Developing leadership and collaboration skills in ensemble settings. 

• Preparing for collegiate music study or lifelong musical engagement.
